A Distinguished Scientific Achievement Added to the Record of the Basra Technological Technical Institute

In a milestone that reflects the spirit of academic and research excellence, the Basra Technological Technical Institute—one of the formations of the Southern Technical University—has achieved a new scientific accomplishment, further enriching its record of achievements.

Assistant Professor Dr. Diaa Kamel Shari, Dean of the Institute, has successfully published a high-impact research paper in one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed international journals, IEEE ACCESS, which is ranked in the Q1 quartile within the SCOPUS indexing system.

The paper is titled:
“Design and Control for Piezoelectric Energy Harvester Based on a Heuristic Optimization Algorithms”

This achievement is a clear reflection of the Institute’s continued scientific efforts and highlights its active role in supporting the advancement of research in Iraq, while strengthening its presence on the international academic map.
