Exceptional Session of the Institute Council to Advance Digital Transformation Strategy
The Council of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra held an exceptional session, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Diya Kammel Shary, Dean of the Institute. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Mr. Adnan Raikan, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and the heads of academic departments.
The session focused on reviewing progress in completing student data within the Ministry’s Student Information System (SIS), as well as entering staff records into the Human Resources (HR) system. Discussions also addressed the integration of academic courses into the SIS platform and the coding of institute buildings and offices to ensure a comprehensive digital data structure.
Dr. Shari emphasized the importance of meeting the Ministry’s requirements for full digital transformation and urged all departments and administrative units to intensify their efforts and adhere to the specified timelines.
This initiative reflects the Institute’s continued commitment to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s strategic goals, aiming to modernize the technical education system and enhance the quality of educational and administrative services.
