The Surveying Technology Department Organizes an Awareness Activity Titled: “Towards a Smoke-Free Environment”
Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technical Technological Institute, the Surveying Technology Department, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division, organized an awareness activity titled “Towards a Smoke-Free Environment” on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the department’s premises, with active participation from the students. The initiative aimed to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of smoking and its harmful effects on public health, the environment, and society, while encouraging them to adopt healthier and safer lifestyles. The activity featured the distribution of educational brochures and the organization of open discussion sessions, which helped reinforce students’ understanding of the risks associated with smoking and ways to prevent it. This initiative is part of a series of efforts by the Surveying Technology Department to promote a healthy academic environment and foster positive behaviors among students.
