Sponsored by Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra, the Continuing Education Unit at the institute organized a specialized workshop titled “Strategic Planning” as part of a series of activities aimed at developing administrative capacities and improving institutional performance.

The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Yusra Hadi Ibrahim, Head of the Financial Division at the institute. She covered key topics in strategic planning, including the stages of building strategic plans, analysis of the internal and external environment, formulation of vision and mission statements, and setting long-term goals.

The lecture highlighted the importance of strategic planning in educational institutions, emphasizing its vital role in directing resources, achieving efficiency, and raising productivity and future readiness. The workshop also featured practical discussions and case studies that reflected the reality of administrative work within the institution.
