Intellectual Property Protection Guide Committee Holds Its Third Meeting at the Technological Technical Institute
The committee responsible for preparing the Intellectual Property Protection Guide at the Technological Technical Institute held its third electronic meeting on Saturday, May 10, 2015, chaired by Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, with the participation of Dr. Iyad Abdelkhaleq, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, along with several faculty members and legal experts. The meeting focused on reviewing the near-final version of the guide. This meeting is part of the final stages of preparing the guide, where members discussed the last details and made final touches in preparation for its approval by the Presidency of the Southern Technical University and its adoption in its final form. The committee emphasized the importance of this guide in fostering a culture of intellectual property protection for researchers at the Southern Technical University. It also provides a reference framework for organizing the handling of innovations and intellectual works in accordance with national laws and international standards. The guide is expected to be officially launched after final amendments and language review are completed in the near future.
