As part of its ongoing efforts to promote sportsmanship and teamwork among students, the Student Activities Division at the Technological Technical Institute has launched the Peace Indoor Futsal Championship for the Institute’s scientific departments, under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Institute. The championship kicked off on Tuesday, May 14, 2025, and will continue through Monday, May 19, 2025. Matches are being held at the Main Sports Hall of the Southern Technical University, with broad participation from student teams representing the various scientific departments of the Institute. The opening of the championship was attended by Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Director of the Student Activities Department at the University; Mr. Abdul Sattar Za’lan, Head of the University’s Sports Activities Division; and Mr. Mohammed Mahdi, Head of the Media Division at the Institute.This championship aligns with the Institute’s strategic plan to support extracurricular activities and foster a well-rounded university environment that contributes to the development of students’ abilities, enhances their athletic talents, and strengthens the bonds of cooperation and healthy competition among them.
