The Council of the Technological Technical Institute held its tenth session for the 2024–2025 academic year, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr.Diyah Kammel Shary , Dean of the Institute. The session was attended by Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Mr. Murtadha Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Mr. Adnan Raikan, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs; along with the heads of scientific departments and the representative of the technical staff. The meeting addressed several key topics, most notably preparations for academic program accreditation. The Dean emphasized the importance of initiating concrete steps to meet the requirements for academic accreditation in line with the approved standards. The Council also discussed strategies to enhance the activities of academic departments through the organization of scientific courses and workshops aimed at improving the efficiency and performance of both academic and technical staff. Regarding student affairs, the session reviewed preparations for the upcoming first-stage examinations, stressing the need to provide all necessary resources to ensure a successful examination process. The Council also underscored the importance of the examination committees’ adherence to precision and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities. Furthermore, the meeting explored ways to promote community engagement initiatives and services that reinforce the Institute’s societal role, in addition to reaffirming commitment to the university’s recommendations and decisions to ensure the fulfillment of both educational and administrative objectives.
