With the Support and Presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Dhia Kamel Shari, Dean of the Technological Institute in Basra, the Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Technologies and the Student Activities Division, Organized an Awareness Initiative. The initiative included informative brochures about the dangers of smoking and its negative impact on health, emphasizing the importance of quitting. Additional brochures offered guidance on ways to quit smoking and post-quitting advice. The initiative also provided counseling to students on this matter, with the participation of Assistant Lecturers Abeer Sabri Bashara and Duaa Khaled Nasser from the Civil Technologies Department, along with several students from the department. The initiative received great attention from the students.
