With the gracious support and presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiaa Kamel Shari, Dean of the Technological Institute, and in the presence of Mr. Murtadha Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Dr. Abdulnasser Abduljabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies—supervised by Department Head Dr. Duna Al-Aidani and in cooperation with the Student Activities Division—organized an awareness workshop titled “Extremism and Conflict Resolution.” The workshop’s lecture was delivered by Ms. Sara Abdulrazzaq from the Directorate of Youth and Sports, focusing on key manifestations of extremism in modern societies and presenting effective and peaceful approaches to conflict resolution. The session emphasized the role of youth in promoting dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of extremist ideologies and to reinforce a culture of social peace both on and off campus. The event witnessed active engagement from the academic staff and a group of students, with constructive discussions and valuable contributions.
