As part of ongoing scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Iranian universities, the Technological Institute, in collaboration with the Medical Institute and the Iran University of Science and Technology, organized a specialized scientific lecture titled “Encryption Algorithms: Model Comparison and Design Development.” The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Fahad Amin Ghafari, who reviewed a range of well-known encryption algorithms, providing an analytical comparison between existing models and a design he developed. He outlined the key strengths and weaknesses of each model. The event was attended by Dr. Dhiaa Kamel Shari, Dean of the Technological Institute; Dr. Abdulnasser Abduljabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; and Mr. Murtadha Mohammed Bandar, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, in addition to faculty members and students from the Computer Networks and Software Technologies Department, which hosted the lecture. At the conclusion of the session, the Dean honored Dr. Fahad Amin Ghafari with a certificate of appreciation, recognizing his distinguished academic efforts and valuable contribution to enriching the students’ and participants’ knowledge. This scientific initiative comes within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging research expertise between educational institutions in Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and in support of ongoing advancement in the fields of information security and digital technologies.
