Dean of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra Visits Mechanical Workshops to Reinforce Commitment to Training Environment Development

In line with his dedication to supporting and enhancing the training environment, Assistant Professor Dr. Diaa Kamel Shary, Dean of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra, conducted a field visit to the institute’s mechanical workshops. He was welcomed by Mr. Kareem Mohammed Hassan, Head of the Workshop Unit, and his assistant Mr. Hilal, along with a group of workshop staff members. During the visit, Dr. Shary toured several specialized workshops, including plumbing, carpentry, filing, turning, milling, and welding. He inspected the facilities, equipment, and machinery available, and listened attentively to the needs and suggestions of the technical staff aimed at improving the quality of practical training. In his remarks, Dr. Shary emphasized the importance of creating an ideal environment for the training process, noting that it serves as the foundation of technical education. He directed that all challenges faced by students and staff be addressed promptly and called for the provision of all necessary workshop supplies in the upcoming phase to ensure effective educational outcomes.

Accompanying the Dean on this visit were Dr. Abdulnasser Abduljabbar, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs; Mr. Mohammed Mahdi, Head of the Media Unit; and Engineer Yassin Abbas, Head of the Maintenance Division.
