The Department of Electronics Technology participates with distinguished projects in the Scientific Outputs Exhibition for Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence.

Under the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Administrative Technical College, Professor Dr. Jaber Hussein Ali, and with the presence of the Dean of the Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqub Yusuf, the Department of Electronics Technology participated in the Scientific Outputs Exhibition for Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence with two distinguished scientific projects that embody the integration of academic knowledge with practical application.

First Participation: Project: Post-Quantum Cryptography Using Raspberry Pi
Supervised by: Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shurayda
Project Idea: Implementing cryptography algorithms resistant to quantum attacks on a Raspberry Pi device and measuring their performance in a real environment.
Objective: Enhancing the security of Internet of Things (IoT) applications in the post-quantum computing era, in line with future challenges in information security.

Second Participation: Project: Design and Implementation of a Sign Language Speaking Robotic Arm for the Deaf Using Arduino
Supervised by: Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shurayda
Project Idea: Developing a robotic arm capable of simulating sign language and converting it into spoken words, aiming to facilitate effective communication for people with hearing impairments and enhance their integration into society.

These contributions reflect the Electronics Technology Department’s commitment to encouraging students toward innovation and developing their skills in modern technologies, contributing to the preparation of a distinguished generation of engineers capable of keeping up with scientific and technological advancements.
