The attendance of Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Yusuf, Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, at the World Water Day Festival.

Under the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Medical Technical Institute, the Department of Community Health Technologies at the Medical Technical Institute – Basra, organized the second annual World Water Day Festival. The event was attended by several academic and official figures, including Dr. Yaseen Taher Al-Amiri, Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Yusuf, Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology and Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, as well as a number of department heads and students from the institute.

The seminar covered several key topics related to water issues and discussed the challenges of the water situation in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, sustainability strategies, and the role of climate change in water sustainability. It also emphasized raising community awareness and adopting effective practices in water resource management.
