sponsored by Dr. Arkan Yacoub Youssef, the Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, and in cooperation with the Legal Division, the Continuing Education Unit, the Student Activities Division, and the Government Communication and Media Division, a workshop titled ‘Integrity and Anti-Corruption’ was organized. The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and students from the Southern Technical University.

The workshop, presented by legal lecturer Ahmad Abbas Al-Zirjawi, provided a detailed overview of the concepts of integrity and its importance in establishing a work environment based on transparency and accountability. Al-Zirjawi also discussed key legislations and laws related to anti-corruption, offering practical examples on how to address it and promote the values of integrity in academic and administrative institutions.

The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, with open discussions about mechanisms for enhancing integrity and the role of individuals in combating corruption. Participants emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to raise legal awareness and promote a work environment based on integrity and transparency.

This workshop is part of the institute’s efforts to strengthen legal culture and uphold the principles of integrity, contributing to the development of an informed and responsible university community.
