Sponsored by the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub, and under the guidance of the Head of the Chemical Industries Department, Professor Maytham Yassin, second-year students went on a scientific visit to the Oil Training Institute in Basra. The visit included an overview of the institute’s laboratories and both the theoretical and practical lessons that students in the refinery department study. The visit was highly appreciated by the students, expanding their knowledge and understanding. Accompanying the students on this visit were Mrs. Ata’a Jood Ali and Mr. Abbas Mohamed Shehab, members of the Chemical Industries Department.
