A workshop on the importance of publishing in international journals at the Technological Institute

Under the supervision and patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Yusuf, Dean of the Technological Institute, the Research Evaluation Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Technologies, organized a workshop titled ‘The Importance of Publishing in Journals of International Publishing Houses.’ This is part of the institute’s efforts to enhance scientific research and improve the level of academic publishing.

The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamid Razi, who discussed the importance of publishing in high-ranking scientific journals, the standards that research must meet to ensure acceptance in those journals, as well as the mechanisms for selecting suitable journals and how to avoid predatory journals.

The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the faculty, with many questions and interventions raised about the challenges researchers face in the scientific publishing process, and ways to overcome them to ensure research reaches prestigious international publishing platforms.
