The Technical Institute of Technology organizes a discussion session on lightweight concrete.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqub Youssef, the Civil Engineering Department organized a discussion session titled “Lightweight Concrete,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Emad Raad Asheeq. This event was part of the institute’s effort to keep up with the latest developments in civil engineering.

The session covered the latest types of concrete and their properties, focusing on the advantages of lightweight concrete in the construction sector, such as reducing structural loads, improving thermal and acoustic insulation efficiency, and lowering construction costs. The lecturer also reviewed its various applications in engineering projects and infrastructure.
