The Department of Production Mechanical Techniques Organizes a Workshop on “Fundamentals of the Turning Process”

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Yusuf, the Department of Production Mechanical Techniques, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit and the Student Activities Division, organized a specialized workshop titled “Fundamentals of the Turning Process” in the institute’s operations laboratory.

The workshop was presented by the instructor Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim, who reviewed the fundamental principles of the turning process, highlighting its practical applications and the importance of this technology in the industrial sector. The instructor also discussed the latest techniques used in turning and how to develop students’ skills to meet the demands of the job market.

The workshop witnessed notable attendance from students and faculty members, who showed great interest in the information provided and actively participated in discussions and inquiries that enriched the workshop’s topics.

This initiative is part of the institute’s plan to enhance students’ technical skills and connect them to practical applications, thus contributing to their qualification for the job market and developing their capabilities in the field of mechanical industries.
