The Technical Institute organizes a discussion seminar on renewable energy
In a joint organization by the Department of Electrical Technologies and the Continuing Education Unit at the Technical Institute, a discussion seminar was held on the concepts and foundations of renewable energy, under the patronage of the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Ya’qub Yusuf.
The seminar featured a lecture by Eng. Wesan Louay Jassem, who discussed the various types of renewable energy, such as solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric power, and biomass energy. She also covered the practical applications of these types in various fields, including electricity generation and heating.
The lecture also highlighted the environmental and economic benefits of using renewable energy, such as reducing carbon emissions, preserving the environment, achieving sustainable development, and reducing dependence on traditional energy sources.
The seminar concluded by emphasizing the importance of awareness and training in the field of renewable energy, and its role in enhancing environmental awareness and achieving sustainable development.
