A scientific research paper in the field of renewable energy has been published in a peer-reviewed journal listed in Scopus with an impact factor of 7.1 by Dr. Mohamed Hamid Razi, a member of the Mechanical Engineering/Production Department.

The study is a numerical analysis evaluating the impact of using a nanofluid made of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and a hybrid nanofluid of titanium dioxide and iron oxide (TiO2-Fe2O3) at concentrations of 0.2% and 0.3% on the efficiency of electrical and thermal energy in a PVT system.

The results of the study revealed that dispersing 0.3% of TiO2-Fe2O3 nanocomposite in water enhanced the thermal conductivity of the nanofluid, resulting in a 90.64% improvement in the Nusselt number, while Fe2O3 nanoparticles achieved a 31.75% increase. The use of a TiO2-Fe2O3 nanofluid at a concentration of 0.3% enhanced the electrical efficiency of the PVT by 13% and the thermal efficiency by 44% compared to the Fe2O3-based nanofluid. The pressure drop decreased by a maximum of 62.9% when using TiO2-Fe2O3.
Due to the nano-compromise but compared to the reference base fluid. Therefore, the hybrid differential has a superior effect on the PVT performance of single nanofluids.
