The Council of the Basra Technical Institute held its second session for the 2024 academic year, chaired by Dr. Arkan Yaqub Yusuf, Dean of the Institute, with the attendance of: Mr. Murtada Muhammad Bandar, Administrative Assistant to the Technological Institute; Dr. Adnan Rikaan, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs; Dr. Alaa Shakir Nahi, Assistant Dean for the Medical Institute; and Dr. Iman Askar, Assistant Dean for the Administrative Institute, in addition to the heads of the Medical, Administrative, and Technological departments.

During the session, preparations for the new academic year were discussed, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation among different departments to improve the quality of education and provide a suitable academic environment for students. Future plans for the development of the institute and increasing the effectiveness of the educational process were also reviewed.
