In accordance with the directives of the Presidency of the Southern Technical University, the Studies and Planning Department, under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abd-Al-Nasser, organized an educational seminar on organized crime, its causes, and preventive measures. The seminar addressed the modern fields and techniques employed by criminal organizations in their illegal activities, with a focus on economic crimes perpetrated by organized criminal gangs. These crimes are increasingly being disguised as legitimate services rather than trafficking in prohibited substances, humans, or organs. Such activities, in all their forms, pose a threat to the safety and stability of communities within their countries, impacting the international community as a whole.
