The Department of Mechanical organized a seminar on the adverse effects of smoking on students’ health and adherence to the prescribed curriculum. The seminar focused on the health, environmental, and financial hazards of smoking, as well as methods to avoid it in both public and private places. Additionally, the seminar provided a detailed discussion of the prescribed curriculum for the Mechanical department over the two academic years. The speakers at the seminar were Dr. Mohammed Hameed Radi and Mr. Ahmed Yousif Kadhim.
