Launch of Educational Guidance and Counseling Week at the Technological Institute

Sponsored by the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yakoub Youssef, the Educational Guidance and Counseling Week commenced at the institute, attended by the Dean, faculty members, and students.

The event began with an opening speech delivered by Ms. Israa Sameer Ali, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of educational guidance and its pivotal role in shaping students’ futures and guiding them toward success. She also highlighted the efforts made by educational counselors to support students academically and emotionally, as well as to enhance their discipline and behavior within educational institutions.

The first day of the week featured a valuable lecture by Dr. Ali Fakher Habib entitled “Student Discipline Guidelines in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.” The lecture addressed the rules and directives related to student behavior and the importance of adherence to these guidelines to achieve an ideal educational environment that contributes to building the academic and disciplinary character of students.

The educational counseling and guidance week aims to raise awareness of the importance of counseling and supporting students in overcoming academic and personal challenges, which enhances their ability to achieve success and excellence in their educational career.
